Microsoft Mobility has launched Nokia Lumia 530, the company's new entry-level smartphone that runs Windows Phone 8.1. The Lumia 530 will come in single-sim and dual-sim variants and is expected to be priced at 85 Euros (Rs 6,900 approximately) before taxes and subsidies. Nokia Lumia 530 will be available globally, with rollout starting in select markets in August 2014.

The phone will come in bright orange, bright green, white, dark grey colours with changeable shells.

Nokia Lumia 530 sports a 4-inch FWVGA(480x854p) LCD display. Powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, it comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage expanddible via microSD cards(up to 128GB capacity). It is backed by a 1,430mAh battery.

The phone comes with a 5MP fixed-focus camera and there's no LED flash. Lumia 530 also doesn't feature a front-facing camera or a dedicated hardware key for the camera.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone offers Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, Wi-Fi, 3G and A-GPS.

The phone comes loaded with Microsoft Office apps and 15GB of free cloud storage space via OneDrive.

Compared to the Lumia 525, it is more of a downgrade in some ways. Lumia 525 comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and a dedicated hardware key for the camera.
